La Puglia nei castelli

As part of the initiatives aimed at enhancing the historical and artistic heritage of the city of Bari and the entire Puglia region, the Nikolaos Foundation presents the cultural review “Puglia nei Castelli”, a special combination of culture and architecture, art and history. The intent of this initiative is to unveil the hidden souls of Puglia, nature, history, tradition and culture of our territory.

A real journey to rediscover the significant places of history and architecture in Puglia where time seems to have stood between the towers of the sixteenth-century castles, Norman-Swabians and Angevins. The castles are evocative places that lead us into a timeless experience: the emblem of a past time, they fill the territory where they lay their foundations of beauty.

The cultural events of this festival animate the Apulian summer in the most evocative castles of the region through theatrical performances, art exhibitions, photography and historical revisits, giving the right value to the significant places of history, art and architecture.
