Password: culture. Since its foundation in 2009, the Nikolaos Foundation has established itself as a cultural bridge between the city of Bari – and the entire Puglia region – and the international panorama, from an institutional but also cultural and artistic point of view.

The Foundation has for years been engaged in the enhancement of the territory of Puglia through the multiple expressions of art and in the promotion of an intercultural dialogue focused on the riches of our land.

Engine of all the activities is the will to make the land of Puglia an attractive international stage for the promotion of ideas and resources of the territory. All framed according to two fundamental matrices: cultural and solidarity.

Sparkling minds, dynamic spirits and ambitious dreams are the perfect ingredients for the realization of initiatives and events of national and international relevance, such as the annual Nikolart cultural and artistic journey.

A commitment, that of the Nikolaos Foundation, which evolves from an institutional point of view, thanks to the promotion of cultural exchanges between distant peoples, and from a territorial point of view, such as that between the cities of Bari and Szczecin, in Poland, or between the Apulian cities of Polignano a Mare and Altamura and the Bulgarian ones of Sapareva Banya and Haskovo, up to the one between Fasano and the Chinese town of Chongfu.

The promotion of the richness of the territory also passes from the variety and excellence of the local eno-gastrononic proposition, rewarded during the usual January gala of La Puglia a Tavola and the abundance of significant places in the history of art and architecture in Puglia, put in light during the traveling cultural event Puglia in the Castles. All this, accompanied by many other cultural and solidarity initiatives, make the Nikolaos Foundation the perfect setting for the expression of ideas and talents and for sharing with the world the territorial, artistic and human riches that the Apulian land proudly boasts.
