Friday 23 February 2018 was inaugurated at the Museo Civico di Bari, the exhibition entitled “La Carta elegante” by the artist Luigia Bressan, organized by the Nikolaos Foundation, with the cooperation of the cultural association Arte in Viaggio, Radicanto, Coar artists’ cooperative and sponsored by the Municipality of Bari and by the Culture Department of the Municipality of Putignano.

The exhibition presented papier-mâché sculptures depicting nineteenth-century clothes, accompanied by the compositions of the Bariese musician Giuseppe De Trizio in a play of timeless shapes and colors.

A real personal review of papier-mâché between clothes, masks, drawings and projects, where there are also sculptures depicting deer with a strong symbolic value, expression of rebirth and fertility.

In this dance of art, corsets take the name of the music that inspires them in a temporal space that has no boundaries, becoming a perfect interlocking between ancient and present.

The exhibition, enriched by the musical show of the musician Giuseppe de Trizio, held on Saturday 24 February and accompanied by the choreographies of the contemporary aerial dance company Eleina D, ended on Saturday 17 March with a musical performance, entitled “Flumine”: a journey through the sensory perception where music, sounds and colors are dressed in intense poetry: a narration of the soul that accompanies the spectators on a journey without borders.
